Ok so everybody keeps asking me, T when are you going to share your MLB takes, we are begging for them, c\u2019mon please share!!! So now that we are officially 2 weeks away from the postseason, I will share my insights. Without fans, things definitely are changing for baseball and I factored that into my picks you will see below. I have my final 4 and World Series prediction, sleeper and bust teams as well as my dream scenario pick. So glad you could all be here for my picks, and I apologize for making all of you wait. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
National League Championship Picks<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Padres over Dodgers<\/span><\/strong>, 7 Games- Before Covid, I had the Dodgers winning the World Series, but there is just something about this Padres team that will shock the baseball world and get past the dodgers. Tatis Jr, Manny Machado, Eric Hosmer and the additions of Clevinger and Moreland will send the Padres to the World Series. Padres are the Boston Celtics of Baseball.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n American League Championship Picks<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Yankees over Twins<\/span><\/strong>, 6 Games- Baring them both playing in the 1st<\/sup> round, I think this could be the AL Championship series. I originally had the Oakland A\u2019s in here, but losing Matt Chapman for the year, I\u2019m going to roll with the Twins. Yankees are starting to get healthy, which is not looking good for anyone in the AL.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n World Series Pick<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Padres over Yankees<\/strong>!<\/span> Let\u2019s Go- 7 games- This would be an awesome series, but I think with the Padres young core and no pressure of fans at Yankee stadium, the Padres win the World Series!<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Bust Teams\/Stay Away<\/strong>– AL: Cleveland Indians. EWWW, This team CANNOT HIT. Jimmy crickets they can barely score a run. But they have great pitching. I\u2019m still fading them. NL- Miami Marlins. This year\u2019s surprising team won\u2019t be ready come postseason. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Sleeper Teams- <\/strong>AL- Houston Astros<\/span>. <\/strong>Everyone\u2019s most hated team. <\/strong>They\u2019ve been hit with the injury bug and haven\u2019t had the full core together yet. They will barely make the playoffs as a 7 or 8 seed, but watch out, this team could do damage come October. Especially with 0 fans in the stands wanting to kill them. I won\u2019t be surprised if this 7 or 8 seed makes it back to the World Series with Bregman, Altuve, Springer and the boys. NL- Atlanta Braves<\/span><\/strong>– Love these Brothas. Entire lineup can hit. The squad just put up 30 runs a few days back and finally have ozzie back. With Acuna Jr, Swanson, Ozuna, Freeman and much more, this team will be tough to stop. The problem is they have horrendous pitching that will certainly keep you staying up past midnight as these games usually go 7 hours. Will likely need to win games 10-9 in order to advance, but they are so sick to watch. They are the Trailblazers of the MLB.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dream Scenario World Series- Twins Win over Dodgers. Let\u2019s go.
